She's Free!!! Some Think The Kidnappers Were Proving A Point

Abducted reporter Jill Caroll was released from Baghdad yesterday after being kidnapped in route to an interview, about three months ago.

Caroll has been held hostage since Janurary 7th of 2006, and several negotiations were demanded if America ever wanted to see her alive. Although, in the outcome, she told reporters that she was treated very respectfully. Without abuse, or violence, she was even granted some television, and newspapers.

Caroll worked for the Christian Science Monitor while doing her overseas expedition, and on return her editor seemed to find the real meaning of the situation at hand. Stating that the world does hear the voice of the kidnapped Iraqis, and Mr. Bergenheim, of the Monitor realized that this is the big picture, showing our country what Iraq is going through everyday, times 40 or 50 more people.

It certainly would be difficult to be a hostage in your own, town, city, and country.
